A couple small drainages, and a larger crossing of Andrew Brook, but nothing major. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail is in fine shape. Good footing with nothing under your feet but some duff, mud, or rock. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
A few pups having a fine outing. I saw nothing that should give an intrepid dog pause. (Pause for paws?) |

Not too bad at all today. |

It was a fine day out on a lovely mountain. I'm still easing back into hiking after injuring myself, so this fit that bill very well. While I look forward to blasting up Chemin des Dames, that shouldn't happen for at least a few more weeks. In any case, Sunapee has great views from White Ledge, though the trees are a bit too bushy to afford a clean shot toward Chocorua. You can, however, see out to Pack Monadnock, and over to Red Hill pretty easily.
Photos and a more detailed write-up are on my blog. |
