|Trail Maintenance Notes:
||Paper signage at Penacook Camp vandalized. Need to replace. Piper and West side cleared of blowdowns. West Side brushed. Starting drainages on Piper. |
||Blackflies pretty bad but not on the summit. |
|Lost and Found:
||Beautiful day on Mt. Chocorua. Huge group from U. of Michigan at summit. They were there (on the summit) for most of the day.|
Piper is clear of blowdowns to the summit. I also patrolled and brushed the West Side trail (which I've now also adopted). This isn't a popular trail but a good alternative in a storm.
Started work on drainages from the top down. More work to come. Trillium and hobblebush blooming.
