Comments
Comments: Drove here armed with several routes but ended up making our own: located the Clifford Hill Trail on the Gaia topo map. It is basically a logging road, some portions newer than others but pretty clear all the way. There are several logging roads throughout but stick to the route on the map and follow it to the dead end just below the col between Clifford Hill and Currier Hill. Here there was a large cleared area with a tree with a yellow sign: Boundary Marker. Continue past this tree and you will see a trail that will lead you to some cascades and a waterfall. Definitely a nice surprise! It seemed to end here. We crossed the cascades and headed through the col trying to maintain our elevation. After crossing a series of streams, we took a heading for the summit and started to climb somewhat steeply to the flat summit. Woods were pretty clear until close to the summit where we encountered thicker growth and some minor blowdowns, nothing horrible. We located the jar, signed in and bushwhacked back down the mountain heading straight for the waterfall crossing. Back across the top, onto the unmarked trail, down the logging road/Clifford Hill Trail to our car.
