 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
There is a turnaround opposite the trailhead that people parked in or beside (pulled off the road). Maybe a half dozen to a dozen cars when I came and left around 2 and 3:30. Room for more. One car had an Oregon license plate but a sign in it that clearly stated they were from NH. |

 | Water Crossing Notes: |
The crossings on Notchway over Carlton Brook were a bit difficult. Water was still high from the rain at the end of the workweek. I was able to rock hop but it was a bit difficult, |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
All three trails were blazed in orange. Some better than others. RCF blazes their trails decently but not all that frequently. Not a problem on most trails as they’re generally obvious though as was the case with Ledge Trail and Pasture Path. Notchway is less travelled and was fairly obscure at times and also had some odd turns. Shouldn’t be too tricky for someone who has experience though. There were a number of blowdowns. Most were on Notchway and most or all were step-overs or easy walk arounds; nothing crazy. There was a large but old step over on the lower part of Ledge Trail. |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
I saw one that was off leash but was fine. These trails should be fine for dogs. Some may not have liked the water crossings on Notchway as they were a bit tricky Sunday. |
|
 | Bugs: |
I don’t recall any but they’re definitely out further south and are starting to come out up north. I’d start bringing bug spray and a head net now. |

 | Lost and Found: |
There were a small pair of kids winter boots on the lower portion of Ledge Trail I noticed on the way up. I didn’t see them on the way down so I’m thinking that they were probably left there by a family that brought them just in case and picked them up on their way out. |
