Excellent hike of these three today with barely a whisper of wind. Micros went on at the start and stayed on until descending Mt Jefferson,at this point crampons went on. Trails are a mix of bare and ice covered rocks with plenty of rime, there is also softening blue ice which helped with traction. I had a little trouble descending Jefferson but ended back on trail towards the base. Mt Adams and Madison had hardly any snow compared to last week. Descending into treeline on Airline snowshoes went on and the trail is incredibly postholed. The yellow cautionary sign is exposed by an inch-Plenty of snowpack still. Nice monrail changed to ice flow so back to micros. I saw 3 hikers near the parking lot- social distance was no issue.
