Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Water at the first crossing is a bit deep and running fast...might be difficult for small dogs. Had Max not been on a harness and a leash, he would have been swept away. Larger dogs shouldn't have any problems.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Two blowdowns between second water crossing and summit. One can step over both easily enough.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: See water crossing notes.
Bugs
Bugs: Summit was buzzing with horse flies. A few black flies were out, but DEET kept them away.

Comments
Comments: Great day out. Beautiful weather. Unstable monorail starts just after second crossing and continues to summit. Might want the snowshoes and/or light tractionMoose tracks in the mud at the summit. Fun time on the trail.
