Nice hike up to Mt Pierce. The trail for the most part is still a packed superhighway after Gibbs falls. I wore micros for the entire hike.There is minor postholing that is more prevalent above Mizpah cutoff and just before Webster cliff trail intersection. At the summit of Mt Pierce the rocks on the trail had a thin glaze of ice and between the winds and the snow it was full on winter conditions with 50 ft visiblity at best. |
