Comments
Comments: Snow and ice started around 2800' and continued to the top. Micro-spikes are a must, but full-sized crampons aren't necessary. Snow gets increasingly deeper towards the top until it is up to 4' in some places. However, the surface is fairly packed so that it is a combination of soft ice and slushy snow. Other than the occasional posthole, its easy to stay on the surface, and snowshoes are certainly not necessary.
