Comments
Comments: Snow and ice starting approximately a third of the way in; micro spikes highly recommended, poles would be helpful. I saw several people without spikes so it is possible to summit like this but they appeared to be struggling significantly. The trail does get steep and it is challenging. Minimal views from the summit but what you can see is beautiful and it’s a great hike non the less. For such a warm and beautiful day I was surprised by how few people I saw. I hiked in shorts and a long sleeve with a sweatshirt on the way down and was perfectly fine. Happy hiking!
