 | Comments: |
A fine day for a bakers dozen of peaks! Thankful for the overcast and drizzle this morning, boy does 65 degrees out feel pretty close to hells front porch for us winter hikers. No leaves on the trees so it made it seem far toastier than it probably was. Trails are in great shape and no issues at all. Many out today, but in the 19 miles we only saw about 20, aside from the 20 hellions in lifted trucks and ATV's overtly drinking and driving on their way up to Whiteface. Noted several waist high hikers out today enjoy the day, which was awesome! No snow on the trails, a few patches in the woods but very minor. If you want to go for a big hike, the 12 pack is clear for takeoff! |
