Black flies made their presence known when stopped, but otherwise were not yet vexing. |

Trails were relatively dry with some mud in the usual places on Mt. Rowe Trail and Benjamin Weeks Trail. Some trailing arbutus in bloom.
Still quite a few patches of snow visible on the ski slopes, generally a few hundred yards each.
Not overly crowded, and it looked like mostly local users.
Beautiful spring afternoon with nice air and a breeze. |
