First official "hike" of the season for me at Catamount Hill, which is a local spot that serves as a nice training hike. Nice day to be out! Plenty of people are In Bear Brook due to everything going on, but encountered absolutely no one on the catamount loop. There's a little lookout at the top with fine views of the Belknap range, but today you could make out some of the whites like Sandwich or Tecumseh. May do this little hike a couple more times before getting to the bigger stuff |
