First time on these trails for a loop of about 3.5 mi. or so. Conditions were mostly dry except for some muddy areas and standing water along Robertson and Short Circuit. Boulder Trail was the best of the bunch today, being an actual footpath (as opposed to a woods road or a powerline cut) with many short ascents and descents for a bit of a workout. As its name implies, there are also some impressive glacial erratics along the way. A few people out during the late afternoon (we started at 4pm) but all respected distancing. |
