Comments
Comments: We chose to approach from the West end of Potato Hill Rd because we just came from Unity Mountain and this very close. From where we parked Potato Hill Road is drivable with a high clearance 4x4 but parking then becomes an issue because of private property and posted signs. We walked from our parking spot up the Snomo trail/class VI road to nearly the HOL and the second Snomo junction turning onto it ( the property on the left was marked 'Private' but that property boundary ended shortly so we felt comfortable to enter the woods beyond. From her it was through an recently logged area and then open woods to the summit. The recognized HOL is the more northern bump even though they are virtually the same elevation based on my altimeter reading. We returned the same way.
