Black flies were just starting to swarm, but not biting. Did find my first tick of the year though. |

Trail closures elsewhere are even impacting mountains without formal trails. We saw 10 people while on this hike; I don't think I have ever seen anyone up here before.
Trail is snow free with a few patches of snow off to the side near the top. Some muddy areas, but nothing too bad. Did see a yellow violet in bloom, but otherwise not much in way of flowers yet. Trail is not signed or blazed, so it is not recommended if you're not comfortable with off trail navigation. |
