Comments
Comments: With low temps, trail was still in pretty good hikable shape, mostly packed snow/ monorail, but definitely sections where it'd melted away. I bare booted the first half, threw on micros for the second half. The beginning of the hike along the river, is pretty much patches of snow interjected by streams. As temps rise, snow will deteriorate and this bottom section may get trickier. I broke out my trekking poles mainly to cross one wider creek that didn't have sizable rocks to make an easy rock hop across rather than take the extra .3 around. Totaled about 15 mi
