Comments
Comments: Walked up FR 404 until we passed a driveway and house above, continuing on the road to the left until we came to a clearing where the road went straight and a faint trail went to the right. We took the right and immediately crossed a stream then followed what seemed to be a very old woods road. Once that disappeared, we took a heading towards the summit. Clean woods with occasional boulder fields and a moderate uphill climb brought us to an outcropping. Once on top of that, we saw a higher bump and headed straight for that. No evidence of any jar or string so we hung our own and started a new register. Headed back down pretty much the way we came.
