| Water Crossing Notes: |
All snow bridged or easily hopped. One tricky jump on the Webster-Jackson trail and getting more difficult with the melting snow. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The Webster Cliff Ridge trail is a bit hard to follow at times, especially near the hut and at the summit of Pierce. The snow pack is thick and the drifts hide the trail a bit. The track is defined at this point, but it can't hurt to have a compass in case. Crawford and Webster-Jackson were well packed and easy to follow. |

| Comments: |
Awesome day, under clear skies and over decently fresh snow. The pack was very soft at times, especially on the ridge between Pierce and Jackson, but I was surprised at how quickly the monorail has formed after the latest snow and relatively warm weather. The ridge trail towards Jackson is a bit hard to find at the top of Pierce -- Curl around to the right side (looking southwest) of the summit cone to find the trail tucked away. |
