Comments
Comments: Went south on the AT for about one mile to the height of land where the trail passes closes to the two summit bumps. Bushwhacked up and into the col between the two. Gaia app had a big "X" on the right hand bump so we headed there first. Explored all over but could not find anything recognizing it. Took a heading for the other bump. Back down into the col then steeply up the slope and came to the top right where the quartz cairn and newly replaced jar were located. (Thanks, FranM!) Signed in and headed back down through the col coming out onto the AT just below where we had started our bushwhack! Fun hike! Very cool summit!
