Bottom half of trail is dry, hiked in bare boots. Used microspikes for upper half. Snow was hard packed and most people we saw were hiking in sneakers, but we were very happy to have our spikes. Everyone keeping their social distance at the top, though a few we passed on our way down barely got off trail to let us pass. We simply went off trail ourselves to keep our distance. All in all, a gorgeous, sunny day.
