Comments: FR 404 (or CCC road on some maps), bushwhack

We parked on Route 118 at the beginning of FR404, about .1 mile east of Breezy Point Road. This looks like a road that can be driven but it ends at an active camp that has a driveway with a No Trespassing sign so I would be leary of driving up the road. On all the maps I've seen it is within the National Forest so I felt confident that we were not trespassing up to the driveway. I imagine the road gets its name from the CCC from the 1930's as beyond the driveway and on the continuation of the road there are a lot artifacts from that era. At the driveway we continued on the road to the left and followed it until it began turning away from our destination. At this point we took a bearing for the summit and found open woods all the way. We did see several bearing trees and boundary markers along the way. We got to the obvious high point but did not find any register as mentioned in a previous post from 2017. It probably was taken down, after wandering around looking for any bump higher we decided that our initial bump was in fact the summit. An this also coincided with the 1,868' elevation and the mark on our map. An easy trek in open woods and an added bonus of hearing a pair of Barred owls talking opon our way out.
