All snow gone except some packed ice close to the junction. Wore Katoolas from last casade before junction as we didn't want to chance a fall in our old age. Went there to escape soft snow and got rewarded. Can't stand soft snow anymore. Went to Acadia last few weekends to avoid the thaw being no snow on Acadia but great hiking and views. |
