Broke up the day with this trip. Trail was in great shape, it shows how well it is maintained. There have been some tree falls since my last visit, not surprised with all the wind we have had. They’ve been cleared so not an issue. Small wildlife was out and about, nice sign of spring.
Hepatica is in bloom, columbine is greening, and pearly everlasting was budding. Had the summit to myself for about 5-10 minutes. Saw two couples on my way down, otherwise no one. |
