Comments: Nice hike, snow line is at approximately 1800 feet with just trace amounts until the black mountain cutoff at this point there is still heavy solid snowpack with postholes made by what looks like a very large moose. I was able to bareboot the entire hike. There were also fresh bear tracks on the trail-they are out and about.
