Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Still gated for the winter. Only one other car parked, so it was easy to park away from the road.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: There was one wide stream where I had to step on a rock a bit underwater.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Most large branches and rocks cleared from waterbars, but regular spring cleaning still needed. Just above the lookout I think there's an old dip that's been lost as the trail turns to the right. There are three blowdowns. The one that's been around for a while seems a bit lower, and it should be easy to trim the branch that's beginning to menace heads. The new, double blowdown isn't horrible, but there's already a bit of a path around it. One trunk is easy; a good pruning saw will take care of it. The larger trunk may want an ax, depending on your taste. See the GPX trace at https://drive.google.com/open?id=12or2lxdUalsSLSmNV3T8GpGD7uMdhr6H for locations. They're not far from the parking lot.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Paw prints in the mud
Bugs
Bugs: Nope
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: One blue & white sock recently deposited off to the side near the summit.

Comments
Comments: No one visible during the hike, but there was a couple somewhere off trail in the brushy area near the summit. Pretty good visibility into VT and MA.
For a GPX track including some trailwork notes see https://drive.google.com/open?id=12or2lxdUalsSLSmNV3T8GpGD7uMdhr6H
There's a logging operation in progress below the turnoff to the farm.
Some trash, especially near the summit, but unless I bring gloves it'll be a while before I begin picking up trash again.
