Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: None bridged. Drakes brook is running high. I was able to cross from sandwich man trail side by going upstream approx 500 feet to a pile of stout blow downs. On the return went downstream about a thousand feet from trail and rock hopped. All other crossings were minor

Comments
Comments: Micros on at about 2100 ft and stayed on for the hike. There is heavy ice flow on the steeps heading up to Noon peak. At some points had to step off trail heading up to avoid. I would not descend this way at this time. Trails overall had a good monorail with heavy snowpack still at upper elevations. About a half mile before the summit of Sandwich Mtn the trail is hopelessly postholed... snowshoes would've been tough with that mess. Drakes brook trail has a deteriorating monorail that will be in rough shape moving forward into spring. Snowshoes along for the ride today.
