Comments
Comments: The trail conditions below the ski glades are technically challenging and potentially dangerous due to significant ice in several places. If you have limited experience in winter conditions, or lack appropriate gear, you may want to steer clear of this one until the ice can melt.

Above the glades the trail is in good shape with a solid base. A few small sections of the ledges below the summit are exposed and free of snow or ice.

I wore snowshoes for most of the ascent until the ledges, mircospikes from the ledges up to the summit and then back to where the trail first crosses the ski glades, and then full crampons from that point to the parking lot. I brought an ice ax in anticipation of the icy conditions; I did not feel I needed it, but it would not be overkill to bring.
