Comments
Comments: After learning of a new "trail" up to the main peak from the pulloff, I went over today to check it out. The trail is a fairly clear footpath for about half the way, well marked with orange flagging and cairns. The second half is more of a flagged bushwhack and is steep and poorly located in places. It brought me right up to the communications tower. From there, I wandered down the ledges behind the tower for the views. Instead of taking the same route down, I bushwhacked down the north ridge until I hit the trail again not far from the pulloff.

I then started to bushwhack up to the north peak, soon hitting another orange-flagged route, also with numerous cairns. This climbed up through what looked like an old pasture and the flagging stopped just shy of the summit. From there it was a very short whack to the high point where is there is a nice cairn. I followed the flagged route down, but it leads to private property, so I jumped off shortly before hitting the road.

There was one other vehicle in the pulloff when I arrived, and I did hear someone bushwhacking but couldn't see them. Perhaps someone working on the fire tower list? Also of note is an increase of no trespassing signs around the summit, but they all seem to face different directions, so it's not clear what is off-limits and what isn't. I also drove around to the bottom of the access road on Governors Rd. and it too is heavily posted, but there was one vehicle there.
