Comments
Comments: Went up Avalon at 5:30pm to do some nighttime photography, descended at 10:30pm. The trail direct to Avalon is VERY steep and icy- I would really recommend crampons. I'm sure some people are doing it in micros and are fine.

Excellent views from Avalon, and a windy but relatively warm night.
