 | Comments: |
There is still packed granular snow on the last third of the way up to Pikes's Peak. We didn't have spikes. There was quite a bit of slipping on the way down, but there are a lot of small trees and saplings to hold onto during descent. Everyone not wearing waterproof shoes had very wet feet. The trails will likely be a mess with the new rain and snowfall on April 9th. |
