Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked at the drive-able end of Dyke road, in Sugar Hill If you haven't been to Bronson Hill before, I'd recommend parking at this Dyke road spot first, as it'll be easier to intuit where the cabin and better views of Franconia ridge are. Once you know where the cabin is, you may want to explore using the Foss Forest TH on Pearl Lake road for a different approach. Dyke road was also drier today than the Foss Forest TH.

Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Didn't see the camera. Did find a pair readers, 1.75 mag, in a silver colored metal narrow case, purchased from Job Lot for like three bucks. It was barely poking out of leaves on a high bump right near summit. There was a (moose?) jawbone on this same bump.

Comments
Comments: I had been meaning to return to Bronson Hill area to figure out the rest of the pink and blue trails, when I saw FranM had lost a camera up there, so I figured I'll do a little more redlining and keep my eyes open.
No luck on the camera. Darn. I was also disappointed to see the jar and rawhide missing from the summit tree, as well. I go to Bronson Hill frequently and the jar was there just a couple weeks ago. Pissed me off. I guess I need to start carrying a spare jar/notebook in my pack, so I can replace missing ones.
But I WAS tickled to discover how steep the blue trail is, if you take the loop clockwise. Complete with that long up-tilted tunnel of foliage leading to a tiny circular view of the sky deal, that trail pattern we love to see on 4000 footers. Bring your poles! Good stuff.
