Comments
Comments: We walked up the Class VI road about .2 miles as did others in previous posts, then headed straight toward the summit. We picked up the unnamed trail about 2/3 of the way up and followed it to the ridge where we lost it for a bit due to the significant amount of blowdowns. From what looked to be the HOL we saw another bump a short distance away that was the recognized high point (Thanks Lady B). Now we could see the trail once again and followed it to the ledges and the magnificent panoramic views toward Franconia Ridge and southerly, saw the metal seat, probably from an old car.
