| Comments: |
Spring conditions. Bare booted Liberty Spring past junction with Flume Slide, snow shoes from there to Franconia Ridge, out-and-back to Flume, and over to Little Haystack. Microspikes for traverse from Little Haystack to Lafayette. Snow shoes back on for descent.
Only saw 2 other people wearing snow shoes (thank you), which was not surprising, but still a little disappointing.
Saw several people without any traction at all, slipping, sliding, postholing, and struggling very hard. No words.
Nice to meet and chat with Jeremy - thanks for the intel. |
