| Comments: |
Great hike of the Kinsmans- I was able to use microspikes until just above the hut and then switched to snowshoes for duration of hike until returning to Lonesome Lake trail. Fishin' Jimmy wasn't too bad just had to choose steps and bypass when possible as there is blue ice under the approximately inches of new snow. The trail is broken but looks rototilled due to lack of snowshoe use. New snow was turning to mashed potatoes by 930.
