| Comments: |
Today's conditions were perfect for a spring summit to Owl's Head! The temperatures were just cold enough to maintain a solid packed down crust which meant that spikes were our preference all day. The afternoon sun worked magic on a few prime exposed parts but all were easily navigable. The Brutus bushwhack was harder to navigate today due to more foot traffic than snow in recent weeks which presented a bit of ice and packed down areas. The summit presented view of the Bonds and Washington and it was a perfect day to be outside! |
