| Water Crossing Notes: |
The first crossing on North Twin Trail is open and would have required some icy rock hoping. The second crossing is bridged and could have been crossed easily. Both of these can be bypassed by staying on the left side of the river. The third crossing was open but could be crossed using a partial snow bridge just up stream. |

North Twin, North Twin Spur, Twinway, Frost, Gale River
All trails today were in fantastic shape! They had well packed snow with no ice anywhere except some minor avoidable stuff at the very bottom as the trails transitioned from bare ground to packed snow. Spikes did fine and snowshoes were not needed today but keep in mind that temps were colder than they've been recently and a warmer day might require snowshoes. |
