 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A few blow downs. Forgot my say or else I would have cleared them away. Easy enough to maneuver around or step over. |

 | Comments: |
Early morning trails are in excellent condition. Mostly hard packed snow with a hint of ice here and there. Easy to get in a smooth rhythm and make good time. Used microspikes the whole way. Sufficient. The steep going up the ledges is pretty gnarly but again, spikes were sufficient even there. Still quite a bit of snow up high but right now it is frozen over so no postholing even if you step off the trail. Couldn't have asked for a better day. Happy hiking! |
