| Comments: |
Mt Kinsman Trail is snow free to Bald peak. After BP there is some trace snow and ice. Around 3000 ft the monorail starts. It is soft and unstable all the way to the ridge. We tried m spikes and switched to snowshoes. Kinsman Ridge trail is in a little better shape. A mixed bag of bare ground and a more stable monorail. South Kinsman is mostly bare rock. The weather was alot better than predicted. Views were decent. Some wildflowers down low. |
