Comments
Comments: Started up Mt Washington via trail beside cog with microspikes and switched to crampons until descending at Gulfside/Jewell intersection. Trails were a mix of packed windblown snow, heavy iceflow or bare rock. There are spots on this hike above treeline that micros would be fine but decided on crampons after a fall and slip towards ravine above Jacob's ladder last week. The Jewell once into treeline is well packed and made for a quick descent. The water crossing was a little tricky but doable.
