 | Comments: |
Lots of people with tiny packs and no traction. LOTS of ice. I ascended without any traction and the descent off Welch was treacherous. Finally put on my micros for the descent off Dickey - very icy across the large flat granite slabs. I carried snowshoes but didn't need them - not enough snow even in the col between the peaks. Lots of places to miss-step and slide if you're not careful. Terrific views, as usual!!!! |
