| Comments: |
X Country ski trails free of snow except for 20 feet at trailhead. Minimal snow on the first couple miles of Gale River Trail, and 1" of fresh sticky snow with a stable base higher up; I used microspikes on these sections. I put on trail crampons for the steeper section of Gale River Trail, Garfield Ridge and Frost, and on the descent, went back to spikes at the same place I took them off. Had the trail to myself today. |
