||LWT packed down nicely from all the foot traffic it gets. Osseo trail was packed down with trace amounts of snow all the way up to the summit. |
The Osseo trail was a 1st for me. I can say it was well maintained with a few blow downs. I used my Hillsounds until I got to Osseo. I figured the lifts on my snowshoes would not be a bad thing. The stairs below the "DownLook" are still covered in snow. It was quite steep but made for a very enjoyable ride down. I met another hiker who had his skis. Another hiker walking with her dog. I would make it a point to try this again without the snow. I highly recommend this trail as another way up to Flume.
