Comments
Comments: Mixed bag of conditions at lower elevations. Ice on the logging roads, as well as spots of mud and bare ground. Packed snow/ice once we were off the logging roads. Spikes only today - snowshoes got a free ride. Summit/viewing area itself was snow free.

We did not attempt to drive up the road to the actual trailhead - parking at the fence at the end of Howe Hill Road was a quick walk to the trailhead.
