Comments
Comments: Road walk was icy with some stretches of bare road. Lower Mt. Garfield Trail had some ice but was mostly bare ground. Snow depth increased with elevation and soon had a perfect, well-packed styrofoam surface all the way to the summit. Ideal for spikes and making for an easy day.
Spectacular day with Chris and Renee. Woods and summit views were beyond description.
