| Comments: |
Hiking ski trails on Cannon is not necessarily kosher. Very little snow until reaching the snowmaking trails. Some nasty mud patches from Mittersill vehicle use, however the liftline itself is fairly dry due to the reclamation work done. Patchy snow firm and not much of an issue. Barebooted entire trip, not traction needed. Hiking trails appeared to have plenty of snow on them, however.
Followed unnamed trail from Mittersill to Brides Maid Falls - dry trail, falls quite nice with spring run off. Didn't notice any flowers in bloom on ski trails, but path to Brides Maid Falls had lots of yellow violets. |
