Comments
Comments: Sandwich Mountain Trail started with some ice, and did have several sections of steep icy patches. In general, however, the trail was a beautiful, smooth, hardpacked sidewalk. There was a smattering of postholes, generally off-trail, closer to the summit. Drakes Brook Trail for the descent was fast and smooth. It's quick hiking out there. Beautiful conditions and with temps still cold enough in the mountains to keep trails firm. Looking forward to a couple more weeks of beautiful conditions.
