 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
The Romley-Remick Road off of North Groton Road still had a snow bank blocking and it was muddy beyond this. I drove uphill beyond the posted No Parking signs on the curve and parked well off the pavement about 200' beyond the last NP sign. Plenty of room now that the snowbanks from plowing have receded. |

 | Comments: |
Conditions are pretty much as described by Zack and Bryan but are deteriorating rapidly with the continued strong sun. I started wearing snowshoes from just beyond the kiosk all the way to the split on the High Pasture Trail for Mt. Crosby and Bald Knob. Light traction is necessary from here to the summits and across the ridge as the rocks and ground are ice covered in a melt and freeze pattern. I looped over to Bald Knob on the icy ridge trail having not ever been there. Some limited views toward Newfound Lake and toward the west from these ledges. |
