Shoulder season is here and this trail may need to be skipped for awhile after the rain.
The trail was mostly covered in snow Thursday afternoon, with the exception of the last portion of the foot path (dry). The middle third of the trail still had snow cover, however there was standing water lurking underneath. Snowshoes kept me from postholing into the water/mud. I suspect this middle third of the trail will soon be a mess. |
