The trail is generally in great condition. I post holed a couple of times, but never seriously. I did not bring snowshoes and never felt that I needed them. I wore micro spikes the whole way. The first mile was hard ice and spikes were mostly deffinetly needed. The trail became slightly slushy in spots later in the day, escpicially where there was direct sun. There was great sledding on the way down and stunning views! |
