 | Comments: |
Escaping the madness for a few hours doing a 7 mi. hike along these trails with a group of five, including a visit to the Bedford high point, Holbrook Hill (840 ft.). Very easy grades and copious switchbacks reflect the trails' mountain bike past. The broad summit of Holbrook is wooded with no views, but there is a cairn, sign and register (it could really use a full notepad; it's currently just loose sheets of paper).
Aside from a few lonely specks of fading snow and ice, these trails were dry and bare today. No need for any sort of traction. |
